Building the Future: The Impact of Our Scholarship Fund
At The Kash Foundation, we believe in backing the brave and building the future. Our scholarship program exists to honor service, lift financial burdens, and unlock opportunities for students whose families embody sacrifice and resilience.
This is not just about paying for school. It’s about affirming dreams, strengthening communities, and inspiring the next generation of leaders.

Every scholarship recipient commits to these principles, embodying the values of service, integrity, and purpose that define our mission.
Scholar Spotlight: Ava McInerney – Tuscaloosa, Alabama
“It reminds me that I am not on this journey alone — I am backed by a community that values both education and service.”
For Ava, service is personal. Her father dedicated 17 years to law enforcement, serving with both the NYPD and the Delray Beach Police Department. His long hours, missed holidays, and daily sacrifices gave her a front-row seat to the meaning of resilience and courage.
Now, Ava is charting her own course as a University of Alabama student, majoring in Kinesiology on a pre-Occupational Therapy track. Her dream: to become an NFL athletic trainer — combining her passion for sports with a career helping athletes rebuild and thrive.
The Kash Foundation Scholarship lifted the weight of tuition and books, giving Ava space to grow as a leader. Today, she serves on the Executive Board of Alabama’s Club Volleyball Team, thrives academically, and stays active through her sorority and the Wellness Club. Ava is proof that when you invest in service-minded students, you multiply impact.
Scholar Spotlight: Lawson Hawke – Milford, Pennsylvania
“Receiving this scholarship has been a blessing. It’s more than just financial support — it’s a vote of confidence in me and my future.”
Lawson comes from a proud tradition of military service: his grandfather served in Vietnam, his great-uncle in World War II, and two of his cousins serve today. Their legacy gave him values of resilience, gratitude, and sacrifice that shape every area of his life.
Now a financial planning major at Marywood University, Lawson is also a collegiate baseball player. Balancing academics and athletics is demanding, but the scholarship helped relieve financial strain and gave him the confidence to focus on both.
Lawson has grown as a leader, teammate, and student — inspired to give back to his community and to help others plan for their futures, just as donors have invested in his.
Scholar Spotlight: Kody Judkins – Beavercreek, Ohio
“Having this scholarship has severely decreased my stress and anxiety for how I am going to pay my way through school.”
Kody grew up surrounded by a family legacy of service: a grandfather who served as a major in the Army Corps of Engineers, a grandfather and great-grandfather who were Marines, and a brother currently training in Army ROTC. Discipline, respect, and faith were cornerstones of his childhood.
Now pursuing a degree in middle childhood education, Kody dreams of becoming a youth pastor — guiding the next generation through teaching and faith. The scholarship gave him the stability to continue that journey without the crushing stress of financial insecurity.
Kody now pours his energy into mentoring children, sharing his faith, and preparing to lead with purpose. His story shows how one scholarship can echo through countless young lives.
